Albert Edward Hopcraft, Sr.

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Albert Edward Hopcraft, Sr., age 86, of Jefferson, who passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

Mr. Hopcraft was born in Mansfield, MA, and was retired, after 30 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Hopcraft held the rank of Senior Master Sergeant and served in WWII, the Korean War and two tours in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Catherine O'Steen Hopcraft, Jefferson, daughter Linda Hopcraft Vaughan (Martin), Richmond, VA, son, Ed Hopcraft Jr. (Rebecca Wright), White Plains, GA, grandchildren, Chad E. (Jenny) Hopcraft, David W. (Adelyn) Hopcraft, Casey Hopcraft, great grandchildren, Chloe, Maggy, Jessie, Dani Hopcraft, brother, Calvin Hopcraft, Oklahoma.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10am in the Evans Memory Gardens in Jefferson, GA.
