Edith Cash Jameson

Edith Cash Jameson, age 67, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born April 20, 1945 in Portsmouth VA, she was a daughter of the late John Howard and Pauline Moore Cash.

She was a member of Toccoa Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Wal-Mart. Edith was an LPN, a certified teacher and a para pro for special education. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved to spend time gardening.

Family members include daughters and a son-in-law, Karen Jameson, and Kathy and Clinton Murray; grandchildren, A. J. and Taylor Murray, Michael and Alex Seay, Dannessa Edmonds, Coty and Monteah Gettys, and Patrice Echols; a great-granddaughter, Raelynn Gettys; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Charlotte Cash and Lynn and Vivian Cash; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Toccoa Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Vernon Dorminey officiating.

Burial will follow at the Toccoa Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 3 pm - 5 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm Sunday, July 29, 2012.
