Rebecca D. Heidle

Funeral services for Rebecca D. Heidle, age 79, of Clarkesville will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Heidle died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 following an extended illness.

Born June 17, 1933 in Fayetteville, Georgia, Mrs. Heidle was the daughter of the late William W. and Bessie Harris Darnell. Mrs. Heidle was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Heidle was also skilled floral designer for over 30 years having designed locally at Blue Willow Floral in Demorest. In addition to her parents Mrs. Heidle is preceded in death by brothers William Wade Darnell, Jr. and Walter Darnell, sisters Helen Banks, Thelma Bishop, Alene Davis, and Sadie Egan, and brother in law Byron Matthews.

Survivors include her husband James Heidle of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Debbie and Jack Lee of Clarkesville, son and daughter in law Mike and Kathy Heidle of McDonough, brother and sister in law Roger and Sandy Darnell of Jonesboro, sister Martha Matthews of Tyrone, sisters in law Charlotte Darnell and Brenda Darnell and brothers in law Edgar Banks and Ken Egan, grandchildren John Lee (Debbie), Joel Lee, Jaclyn Lee, Heather Heidle Reagan (Ted), and Brian Heidle (Amber), as well as great grandchildren Maggie Lee, Jackson Lee, Hannah Lee, Madeline Reagan, Wilson Reagan, Charlotte Ann Reagan, and Grayson Heidle.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
