Kenneth Chapman Wade

Kenneth Chapman Wade, age 73 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Wade was born August 8, 1938 in Cleveland to Hubert and Cora Chapman Wade. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and loved fishing, the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his brothers William Wade, Edward Wade, sisters, Barbara Wade, Edna Wade, grandparents Marvin and Ella Chapman and Gordon and Flora Wade.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Wade, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and John Collins, Cleveland; son, Bryan Kenneth Wade, Cleveland; parents Hubert and Cora Wade, Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Wendell and Mary Wade, Cleveland; grandchildren, Brandon and Lindsey Talley; Jake Jones, Brooke Wade, Brianna Collins, Emily Jones, Peyton Collins; and great grandson, Connor Talley; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, August 6, 2012 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Redwine and the Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Interment will follow in Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
