Jeanne Marie Tatum Easterling

Jeanne Marie Tatum Easterling, age 81 of Jefferson, GA died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at The Oaks at Limestone following an extended illness. Mrs. Easterling will be cremated following a visitation on Saturday, August 18, 2012 form 1-3 PM at the funeral home. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, sister Joan and cherished husband, Elijah Easterling. She is survived by her daughter Karlee Meyers, Jefferson. Daughters, Debbie Pugh, Jefferson, Lynda Carter and Husband Bob, Rowlett, TX, Carol Brady, McDonough, GA. Nephew, Rahn Ferguson, Baltimore, MD. Grandchildren, Daisy, Mariah, Kjersten, Alyssa, Michael, Robbie, Andrea, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Kari, Mindi, Chip, Nancy, Nellie, Alicia and Amanda. 22 Great-grandchildren and 3 Great Nephews. Jeanne was the daughter of Harry Edward and Erna Walberg Hardy and was born in New Haven, Connecticut May 21,1931. Jeanne grew up in Connecticut and Hollywood, Florida with her beloved twin sister Joan Mae Ferguson. As young girls, the twins were sensational synchronized swimmers, entertaining beach-goers in the style of Esther Williams. She was an avid reader, puzzler, and demonstrated artistry in making crocheted throws for family and friends. Having a great sense of humor, she loved nothing better than a good laugh.
