Renota LaDonna Brewton

Mrs. Renota LaDonna Brewton, age 79, of Murrayville, GA, died Friday, August 24, 2012, at Gateway Health and Rehab in Cleveland, GA.

Mrs. Brewton had lived in Lumpkin County since 2003 and had lived in Cumming, GA for most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Cherokee County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie David Brewton Sr; children, Alice Brewton and Bennie David Brewton Jr. She is survived by her son, Daniel Ryan Brewton Sr and his wife Jeanette, of Cumming, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila Cape, Dahlonega, GA, Michele and Richard Lee, Cumming, GA, Melody and Ernie Ingram, Murrayville, GA; sisters, Dollie Ringl, Michigan, and Dorothy Hoffmann, Ohio; grandchildren, Eric Lee, Jessica Swaim, Lindsey Lee, Jessy Cape, Lucas Cape, Daniel Ryan Brewton Jr, and Megan Brewton; great-grandchild, Zakkary Sweatman. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brewton are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, August 26, 2012, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Travis Bridgeman and Rev. Todd McGee will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Alpharetta City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Saturday, August 25, 2012, from 2 PM until 9 PM and again on Sunday from 11 AM until service time.
