Helen Ruth Rainwater Patton

Helen Ruth Rainwater Patton, age 77, of Flowery Branch passed away Sept. 2, 2012.

Mrs. Patton was born May 16, 1935 in Atlanta to the late Minor and Corrie Lewis Rainwater. She was retired from Wrigley's and was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Wayne Patton, brothers, Randolph, Jerry, Richard, James, Paul, and Ronnie, sisters, Elizabeth Morgan, Frances Crosson, and Muriel Tisdale.

Survivors include, daughter and son in law, Pamela Patton and Barry Reece of Gainesville, son and daughter in law, Randy and Wanda Patton of Gainesville, son, Scott Patton of Gainesville, granddaughters, Courtney Reece, Cayla Reece, Cara Reece, Rachel Patton, Jennifer Patton, and Dianna Patton, grandsons, Dustin Patton, and Corey Reece, sister and brother in law, Ollie and Odis Tate of Pendergrass, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 5, 2012 at the Chicopee Baptist Church with Rev. Darin Vogt, and Rev. Phil Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Pendergrass Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday night at the funeral home.
