Mrs. Rachel Louise Massey, age 81, of Jefferson, GA died Saturday, September 08, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Massey was born in Commerce to the late Diamond Trough and Mary Hester Minish Evans. She was retired from SCT Yarns. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Donald Massey.
Mrs. Massey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Joyce Massey of Jefferson; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Mike Dalton of Maysville and son, Larry Martin of Hollywood; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 4 PM, Monday, September 10 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Jessie Mealor officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 5 to 9 PM.
