Geraldine Carrie (Harris) Poole

Mrs. Geraldine Carrie (Harris) Poole, age 85, of Lula, Georgia, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 pm Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Timber Ridge Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The Reverend Scotty Poole will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm Monday, September 17, 2012 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Poole a lifelong resident of Hall County and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Carrie (Poole) Harris, born July 16, 1927. She was a member of Timber Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace John Poole son, Anthony Lamar (Tony) Poole, brother, Elmer Harris.

Mrs. Poole is survived by her daughter, Darlene Johnette Nix of Lula; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Lynn Poole of Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Maxey Ladd of Gainesville; daughter & son-in-law, Rhonda and Dwayne Ryals of Lula; and son and daughter-in-law, Scotty and Redenna Poole of Lula; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and special friend and caregiver, Brenda Wiley.
