Dorothy Nalley Gee

Mrs. Dorothy Nalley Gee, age 82, of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at her residence following a sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Diamond Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Elmer Maddox and Reverend Swayne Carlan will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


Mrs. Gee was born on May 01, 1930 in Commerce, Georgia to the late John Grindle and Mary Norris Grindle. She was retired homemaker and was a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Aaron Gee.


Dorothy is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Peggy and James Sullens of Gainesville, daughter, Margie Emmett of Clermont, son & daughter-in-law, Roger and Julie Grindle of Pendergrass, son, Jeff Gee of Gainesville, son & daughter-in-law, Joe and Debbie Gee of Braselton, son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Wanda Gee of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Connie Gee of Gainesville, son, Jerry Gee of Gainesville, 17 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, sister, Shirley Nalley of Maysville and brother, Randall Grindle of Gillsville.
