Lt. Ricky J. Mull, age 41 of Alto, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at Habersham County Medical Center.
Born in Towns County on March 14, 1971, he was a retired Lieutenant with Lee Arrendale State Prison. He attended Free Chapel Worship Center and enjoyed the outdoors with his children, especially hunting, fishing and hiking. Mr. Mull was an avid University of Georgia football fan and a fellow Mason. Above all else, Ricky's life was centered around spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Troy Henderson; father-in-law, Steve Erwin; brother-in-law, Matthew Erwin.
Surviving are wife, Jessica Erwin Mull of Alto; sons, Brandon and Taylor Mitchell of Alto, Nathan Mull of Robinsville, NC and Christian Mull of Gainesville; mother, Judy Mulkey Henderson of Warne, NC; father and fiancée, Harold Mull & Margaret Donaldson of Blairsville; sisters, Jodie Mull of Blue Ridge, Amanda Mull of Athens and Lindsey Mull of Lawrenceville; brothers, Terry Henderson of Warne, NC, Randy Mull of Marion, NC and Jamie Mull of Blairsville; mother-in-law, Charlene Erwin of Demorest; sister-in-law & husband, Lacey & Paul Johnson of Demorest; nieces, Audrie Grace and Makenna Johnson; one grandson.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Good News Baptist Church with Rev. Austin Kelley and Rev. Tully Griggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Memorial Gardens with honors provided by the Hall County Sheriff's Department.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Saturday.
