Sara Diana Davis

Obituary Date: Saturday, September 22, 2012

Diana, 50, passed away on September 22, 2012 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was born in Batesville, MS on May 20, 1962, daughter of Bonnie Ferguson Taylor and the late Minton Sims Davis, Jr. She graduated from Parkview High School and attended college in Stone Mountain, GA. Diana is author of the children's book, GOD IS HERE. She traveled the World as a representative for Nikken, Inc. for 22 years, and dedicated herself to changing lives in a positive way.

Her son, Forrest, was her proudest accomplishment. Diana loved her home in the North Georgia mountains, hiking, being surrounded by Nature, and water activities. She loved to entertain and was generous about opening her home to others. She will be remembered for her fun, loving spirit and her inspired heart.

Diana is survived by her son, Forrest Gabriel Weimer, her three younger sisters, Wendy Davis Koch and husband Joe of Paris, KY, Dottie Davis of Charlotte, NC, and Judy Davis Bachmann and husband Chris of Parker, CO. She has three nieces, Olivia and Lauren Bachmann of Parker, CO, and the late Kali Elizabeth Koch of Beckley, WV. She also has two nephews, Marvin and Gil Koch of Paris, KY.

Because Diana loved children so much, in lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1775 The Exchange SE, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30339.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Diana at First Presbyterian Church, 147 North Main Street, Cleveland, GA on September 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM followed by a reception.
