Mary Ellen Savage Thompson

Mrs. Mary Ellen Savage Thompson, age 87, of Loganville, GA passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Warren Thompson. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Heermance, Loganville, GA, Shirley Carson, Loganville, GA and Mary Jane Starnes, New Hampshire; son, Walter Thompson, Loganville, GA; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and brother, Norman Savage, Maryland.

Mrs. Thompson was born January 29, 1925 in Onancock, VA. She was a homemaker.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Chaplain Jamie Kauffman officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens in Snellville, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
