Coy David Marlow

Mr. Coy David Marlow, age 81, of Maysville, GA died Monday, October 1, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Marlow was born in Banks County to the late William David and Zadie Shubert Marlow. He was a member of Free Chapel and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Marlow was retired from Westinghouse and also as a bus driver with the Banks County School System. In addition to his parents, Mr. Marlow was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Louise Westmoreland; and brothers, Jame L. Marlow, Bobby Marlow and Edward Marlow.
Mr. Marlow is survived by his wife, Ethel Montez Parson Marlow of Maysville; daughters, Annette Ayers of Gainesville, Vera Bryson of Homer and Penny Rockett of Maysville; sons, David Marlow of Maysville, Darrell Marlow of Gillsville, Matthew Marlow and Alvin Marlow both of Maysville; sisters, Lena Griswald of Cornelia and Diane Wills of Jefferson; brother, Johnny Marlow of Redwood Falls, MN; 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, October 3 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Mullinax and Rev. Tracy Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6 to 8 PM.
