Elizabeth Quigley Fitzgerald

A memorial mass for Elizabeth Quigley Fitzgerald, age 82, of Clarkesville will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM from St. Mark's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Fitzgerald died peacefully September 30, 2012, grateful for all of the love she had received from God, family, and friends.

Born October 20, 1929, in St. James, New York, Mrs. Fitzgerald was the daughter of the late Hugh and Katherine Darcy Quigley. Mrs. Fitzgerald was a woman of faith, of family, and of Irish descent. She was a sweet woman with a fiesty spirit and generous to all of those she met. Mrs. Fitzgerald was a former employee of Grumman Aircraft in New York and was a membetr of the hospital auxiliary at Habersham Medical Center. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Fitzgerald is preceded in death by her husband Gerald N. Fitzgerald.

Survivors include step daughter and her husband Patricia E. and Michael Moy of Dublin, Ireland; Donna Hansen, SSL, of Dublin, Ireland; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, loyal friends from St. Mark's Catholic Parish and Habersham Medical Center Auxiliary.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 4, 2012, from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM with a prayer service at 8:00 PM.
