Doris G. Evans

Doris G. Evans, age 70 of Cumming, GA, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012.

Doris was a great mom who loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Dawsonville and loved her "church family". She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Evans; parents, George Felton Adams and Ollie Lou Adams; sisters, Frieda Brown and Judy Adams and brother, Bobby Felton Adams.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Lisa Evans of Cumming, Tom and Layla Evans of Cumming, Tim Evans of Gainesville, David and Leigh Evans of Cumming; sister, Ollie Sue McDaniel of Cumming; brother, James Tilmon Adams of Cumming; grandchildren, Aaron Evans, Trevor Evans, Emily Evans, Brooke Cohran, Cason Evans, Carleigh Evans, Dillan Dockery, Sierra Runyan, Isabell Runyan; great grandchildren, Nathan Evans, Haley Evans, Natalie Evans and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Shannon Westbrook, Rev. Danny Cain and Rev. Brandon Benefield officiating. Interment will follow at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery in Dawsonville, GA. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
