Robert James Hood

Robert James Hood, age 77, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, GA, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012. Robert was the owner of Robert Hood and Son Inc., a poultry house curtain distributor. He was well known in Forsyth County and volunteered for many years with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department.

Survivors include his loving wife, JoAnne Hood; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Karen Hood; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Dana Miles; grandchildren, Amanda and Clint Cowart, Justin Stewart; great grandchildren, Baylee Cowart, Miley Cowart, Madison Stewart; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Ruth and Walter Smith, Sandra and Jimmy Ray Brown, Martha and Comer Trigg along with several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Horace Trammel, Rev. Terry Cowart and

Mr. Wesley Walraven officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday, from 3:00 until 9:00 and on Monday, from10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
