James "JABO" Greenmeyer

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James "JABO" Greenmeyer, age 62, of Jefferson, Ga. who passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012.

Mr. Greenmeyer was born in Winder, Ga. a son of the late Harry B and Roxie Dean Greenmeyer. Mr. Greenmeyer was the owner of JG Painting and Decorating of Jefferson, Ga. for number of years.

Mr. Greenmeyer was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Margie N. Greenmeyer, Jefferson, Ga., Daughter, Felicia Michelle Smith Martin, Jefferson, Ga., and Son Brian Scott Smith, Jefferon, Ga., Grandchildren, Bethany Smith, Brittany Smith, Blake Martin, Rebecca Martin, Bill Ray Henson, and Emily Henson, sister, Christine Hanley, Toccoa, Ga., brothers, Joel McDaniel, Crawford, Ga., and Royce McDaniel, Winder, Ga., and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Saturday Oct. 20, 2012 at 2:00 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday Oct. 20, 2012 at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM
