Viola Wright

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Viola Smith Wright, age 90, of Talmo, who passed away on October 14, 2012. Mrs. Wright was born in Hall County, GA, a daughter to the late Sherman and Izzy Perry Smith. Mrs. Wright was a Homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Wright's daughter, Martha Gaddis, sisters, Ida Lou Smith, Flora Underwood, Leona Conner and brother, Homer Smith, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Betty Potts, Oakwood, Barbara Lee, Jefferson, Alice Alexander, Jefferson, Debra (Mel) Patton, Talmo, sons, Bobby (Deborah) Carter, Commerce, Donald (Carolyn) Jones, and Larry Jones both of Jefferson, 22 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 11am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Hardy and Rev. Mark Spence officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park with Caine Tate, Shay Patton, Josh Patton, Hopper Alexander, Chris Jones and Mark Jones honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
