John Knox Martin, 70, of the Cromer's Mill Community, passed away Monday morning October 22, 2012.
Born February 25, 1942, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Garland and Nell Clair Fricks Martin Sr. He was the brother of the late James Russell Martin, Garland "Junior" Martin, and Ray Wesley Martin. He was a poultry and cattle farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Kerr Martin, three sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin Martin, Kerry Martin, both of Royston and Trent and Crystal Martin, Carnesville; two daughters, Tara Martin, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Kelly Martin Rossville, Georgia; and two grandchildren, Colby and Averi Martin.
Services will be Thursday morning at 11am at the B.D. Ginn Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Kesler and Rev. Mike Spence. Internment will be in the Mayfield Martin Neal cemetery in the Bold Spring community.
