Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James William Chastain, 71, of Jefferson, Ga. who passed away Wednesday October 24, 2012.
Born in Jackson County, Ga., Mr. Chastain was a son of the late Hoyt William and Nadine Harper Chastain. Mr. Chastain was the owner of C and R Motors, Inc. of Jefferson, Ga. Mr. Chastain was a Member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 28, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Chambers and Rev. Tommy Seay officiating. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home on Saturday October 27, 2012 from 6 until 9 P.M. and on Sunday October 28, 2012 from 2 until 4 P.M.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia L. Davis Chastain, Jefferson, Ga., daughter, Susan Ledbetter (Billy), Jefferson, Ga., sons, Jimmy Chastain, Jefferson, Ga., and Jason Chastain (April) Nicholson, Ga., Three grandchildren, Amanda Ledbetter, Blake Ledbetter, and Addisyn Chastain, Sister, Betty Hughes (Danny) Hoschton, Ga., and Special Thanks to Cindy, Laura and The staff at Homestead Hospice.
