Winnie Jones Cheek

Graveside services for Winnie Jones Cheek, age 90, of Clarkesville, will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Stowe officiating.

Mrs. Cheek died October 24, 2012 at her residence.

Born in Habersham County on January 13, 1922, Mrs. Cheek was the daughter of the late Byard and Hassie Trotter Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Cheek is preceded in death by her husband Howard Cheek.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Kathy Cheek and Ron Johnston of Braselton, son and daughter in law Burt and Teressa Cheek of Lilburn and grandchildren Lance Evans (Stephanie) of Cumming and Lauren Young Howard of Lawrenceville.
