Mr. Dante L. Davis, age 42, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his father, Laverne Davis; stepfather, Junior A. Davis; and brother, Keith Davis. He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Laura Grant Davis, Sugar Hill, GA; eleven children, Sante' Davis, Sharida Davis, Shuwona Davis, Dante Davis, Jr., Corey Grant, Latura Grant, Merlin Grant, Tenesha Grant, Gracy Grant, Keon Grant and Timothy Young; fifteen grandchildren; mother, Geraldine Crawford Cochran, Sugar Hill, GA; sisters, Nadja R. Byrd, Zoya A. Norfleet and Angela Coger; and brother, Steven Long.
Mr. Davis was born December 18, 1969 in Baltimore, MD. He was a 1988 graduate of Buford High School in Buford, GA. He had worked for Lake Lanier Islands in the restaurant for a number of years and had also worked for Falcon Inn in Suwanee, GA. He was a member of Totally for Christ International Church. Funeral services will be held on Friday,
November 2, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Martez Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
