Nellie Grace Harris

Miss Nellie Grace Harris, 102, of Flowery Branch died Wednesday November 21, 2012.

Born in Jackson County, Miss Harris was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Mary E. Goss Harris. She had lived and worked in Atlanta for over 35 years working for the Veterans Administration before retiring and moving back to Flowery Branch in 1975. She was a member of the Chattahoochee Baptist Church.

Survivors include her niece and husband, Elaine and Winston Jenkins, Flowery Branch; nephews and wives, Morris and Judy Harris, Denver and Gail Harris, all of Dawsonville. A number of great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday November 24, 2012 at the Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Friday November 23, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
