Betty J. Cain Denton

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Betty J. Cain Denton, 56, of Commerce who passed away on Thursday at the St. Mary's Hospital in Athens.

Born in Banks County, she was the daughter of Johnnie Sue Patrick Hill of Commerce and the late Waymon Cain. Other survivors include her husband Mitchell Denton of the residence; children Christopher (Casandra) Denton and Latasha (Jonathan) Bishop, both of Commerce; a brother Ricky Cain of Commerce, sisters Kathy Sosebee, Pam Weldon and Linda Kitchens, all of Commerce and Carolyn Wolfe of Cherokee, NC; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are scheduled for Sunday at 3 PM from the Hudson River Baptist Church with Rev. Troy Herbert officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3-8 PM.
