Jim Malcomb Combs

Jimmy Malcolm Combs, age 73, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 1pm-3pm and 7pm-9pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Combs was born February 4, 1939 to the
late Roe David Combs and I. Dora Gilley Combs. After retirement he was driver for Riverside Pharmacy, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and loved to make people laugh. He attended Hopewell Baptist Church.


Mr. Combs is survived by his wife, Mazzie Combs of Gainesville, son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Misty Combs of Gainesville, son, Jeff Combs of Gainesville, daughter, Beverly Harrison of Gainesville, grandchildren, Kimberly, Josh, Kayla, Josiah, and Michael, his brother & sister-in-law, Robert & Carolyn Combs of Warner Robbins, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.
