Lavada Lyle

Ms. Lavada Lyle, age 76 of Dahlonega, GA, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness.

Lavada was a native of Suches, GA, and had lived in Lumpkin County for the past 31 years. She was a member of Cooper's Creek Baptist Church in Suches, GA, and was retired from Chicopee Mill.

Lavada was the daughter of the late George Lyle and Lilly Davis Lyle, and was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert Lyle and Jewel Lyle, and granddaughter, Rebecca Watkins.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Jerry Reich of Cornelia, GA, Marilyn and Rev. Larry Watkins, Gainesville, GA, and Helen and Dennis Watson, also of Gainesville, GA. 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Lavada are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Larry Watkins will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 3PM until 9PM on Thursday, November 29, 2012.
