Sandra Cain

Sandra Cain, 65, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at her residence following a sudden illness.

Born June 23, 1947, Mrs. Cain had been a resident of Dawsonville her entire life. She worked as a bus driver for Dawson County Schools from 1979 until 1989, after which she worked in customer service at Kmart in Cumming. A member of Liberty Baptist Church, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Cain was preceded in death by her father, Junior Gee; brother, Dennis Wayne Gee; father in law and mother in law, Frank and Inez Cain.

Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Royce Cain, Dawsonville; son and daughter in law, Stacey and Jackie Cain, Morganton, NC; mother, Edith Gee, Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Judy and Larry Sheffield, Dawsonville, Phyllis and Bradley Mooney, Dawsonville; brothers and sisters in law, Jimmy and Paulette Gee, Dawsonville, David and Kathy Gee, Dawsonville; grandson, Will Cain; brothers in law and sisters in law, Roger and Carol Cain, Cumming, Donald and Lou Cain, Kingsland, GA; sister in law and brother in law, Sharon and Mike Jimison, Sherrill Ford, NC; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 1, 2012 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tom Stradley and Rev. Rodney Pilcher will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dawsonville City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 until 9 and all day Friday at the funeral home.
