Shelly Matthews of Birmingham, Al died on November 29, 2012. Born in Shannon, MS she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Birdie McCaskill. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, James William Matthews, Sr.

Shelly is survived by her children, Linda (Hershel) LeGrand of Cumming, GA and Jim (Mary) Matthews of Salem, AL; sister, Jean McCaskill; 6 much-loved grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 2, 2012 at Crestway Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:00
