Harry Frank Ebner

Obituary Date: Tuesday, December 18, 2012


Harry Frank Ebner, 84, of Gainesville, GA passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side.

He was a member of Cumming First United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army as a Marine Engineer and Boat Captain during the Korean War. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who had a love for hunting, fishing, art and music. He also loved to study science and archeology.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Elise Ebner of Gainesville, GA; daughters, Christine and Joe Trojanek of Sarasota, Fl., and Ruth Anne and Phil Lamantia of Cumming, GA.; brother, William Ebner of Elizabeth, PA; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jordan Lamantia.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Cumming First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kathy Stasko officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Cumming First United Methodist Church Music Ministries.
