Grace Edge

Miss Grace Edge, age 78, of Dahlonega, GA died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness.

Grace was a homemaker and avid gardener, and a wonderful Aunt and caregiver to her nieces and nephew. She was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and of the Baptist Faith.

Grace was the daughter of the late Homer Edge and Bessie Grindle Edge.

She is survived by brother and sister-in-law, James and Hazel Edge; sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Marion Burnett; sister, Lorraine Edge; nieces and nephews, Renee and Ricky Smith, Kimberly and Craig Cantrell, Jennifer Burnett, and Jason and Heather Burnett, all of Dahlonega, GA.

Funeral services for Grace are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, December 23, 2012, at the Phillipi Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Rev. JR Fields and Rev. Jason Fuller will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 7PM-9PM Saturday, December 22, 2012, and from 9AM-2PM on Sunday, December 23, 2012.
