Timothy Perkins

Obituary Date: Monday, January 14, 2013



Tim Perkins, age 60, of Mount Airy, Georgia, formerly of Ardmore, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013, at the Northeast
Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Perkins was born on January 3, 1953, in Greenville, South Carolina, to Doris W. Perkins of Idabel, Oklahoma and the late Edgar
R. Perkins. He was a graduate of Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology. Tim was a retired cook from Furrs Cafeteria with 26 years of service. He was a member of Clarkesville First United Methodist Church and his hobbies were bowling and fishing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Ann Gardenhire Perkins, Mount Airy, GA; brothers, Jon Perkins, Batesville, AR and Andy Perkins, Durant, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Clarkesville First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Brian
Butler officiating. Interment will be in Valliant, Oklahoma.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
