Clifford Ardene Earles

Ms. Clifford Ardene Earles, 108, of Dahlonega, Ga., passed away January 15, 2013. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 1pm at Hickory Grove CME, Dahlonega, Ga. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wimberly and Jackson Funeral Home

Mrs. Clifford A. Holland Earles was born on January 25, 1904 to the late John Holland and Carrie Cape Holland in Homer, Ga.

Mrs. Earles passed away on January 15, 2013 following an extended illness. She was 108 years old and would have been 109 years old on January 25, 2013, however, God called her name and she answered peacefully.

Mrs. Earles was preceded in death by her husband Will O. Earles and her sisters, Beulah Earls, Annie Burse and Pearl Davis; brothers Marvin Holland, James Holland, Giles Holland and Albert Holland. She was the last surviving sibling in her family. Also, she was preceded in death by four sons, Otha Earls, James Earls, Clarence Earls and Giles Earls.

She is survived by three children, Willie Cook of Dahlonega, Georgia, Wilton(Kaite) Earls of Gainesville, Ga. and Fannie Stephens of Elizabeth, NJ. She was a lifelong member of Hickory Grove CME of Dahlonega, Ga. Mrs. Earles was affectionately known by her grandchildren as "Grandma Cliff".
