Ann Canady Ward

Ann Canady Ward, age 62, of Carnesville, Georgia passed away January 14, 2013 at Heritage Healthcare Center of Toccoa, Georgia.

Born July 12, 1950 in Carnesville, Georgia she was the daughter of Zelpha McFarlin Canady and the late David H. Canady, the wife of the late Jesse Ward, and granddaughter of the late Jim Canady, Bonnie Fulbright Canady and Avant & Grace McFarlin. She was a 1968 graduate of Franklin County High School, a homemaker and was a member of the Broad River Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Melanie Adams, Martin, Ga; two sons: Jeremy Adams, Carnesville, Ga, and Jesse David Ward, Athens, Ga; her mother: Zelpha McFarlin Canady, two brothers, Dan Canady, Toccoa, Ga, and David "Davy" Canady, Carnesville, Georgia, two sisters: Jan Nethery, Toccoa, Ga, and Jill Neave, Seneca, SC, four grandchildren; Kayla Scott, Andrew Brock, Allison Shackleford, and Zack Adams.

Her memorial service will be Thursday evening at 6pm at the B. D. Ginn Memorial Chapel of Ginn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6 Thursday evening at the funeral home prior to the service.
