Dorothy Gaddis Williams

Dorothy Gaddis Williams, age 79 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at New Horizons North following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Coates officiating. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams was born January 17, 1934 in Gainesville, GA to the late I.J. and Dovie Garrett Gaddis. She was co-owner of D&W Appliance with her late husband, Manuel Edward Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brothers, Thomas, David, Ralph and Johnny Gaddis.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, Michael Williams of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, David and Carol Williams of Gainesville; grandson, Cody Williams of Dawsonville; grandson, Devin Williams of Jackson Co, GA; grandson, Robert Ashe of Gainesville; granddaughter, Katlyn Ashe of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Barbara Gaddis and sister-in-law, Debbie Gaddis.
