Mrs. Joyce Shaw Bullock, age 76, of Warrenton, GA and formerly of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Richard Bullock, Warrenton, GA; children, Marcus and Lisa Bullock, Lawrenceville, GA, Nathan and Lisa Bullock, Warrenton, GA and Matthew and Stephanie Bullock, German Town, TN; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Jane Shaw Cameron, Sautee Nacoochee, GA; Janet and Bob Jones, Covington, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Dee Shaw, Fayetteville, GA and Jerry and Betty Jo Shaw, Stone Mountain, GA; brother-in-law, Fred Harper, Augusta, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Bullock was born December 4, 1936 in Atlanta, GA. She was a 1955 graduate of Lithonia High School in Lithonia, GA. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Warrenton First United Methodist Church. She was a consummate mother and homemaker. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. She was a great friend with a selfless spirit. She was a sports enthusiast. She was totally devoted to her family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hanna officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.
