Obituary Date: Thursday, January 31, 2013

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 pm Sunday February 3,2013 in Wards Funeral Home Chapel
for Johnny Shane LaCount, 36 , of Gainesville. Rev. Dwayne Smith will officiate. The Family
will receive friends Sunday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Wards Funeral Home.

Shane passed away January 30, 2013. He was born in Habersham County on January 13, 1977
and lived a number of years in Hall County. He was a 1996 Graduate of North Hall High School. An avid athlete , Shane played Football , Basketball & Wrestled for North Hall High.

Later in life, his passion for sports continued , as he coached his son's baseball team at Sardis Elementary. Shane was a trained heavy equipment operator , and early in his career managed a cell phone tower installation crew. Later he owned and operated a salvage store in Demorest and later in California.

Shane had a magnetic personality and was a friend to all . He had a love for drawing as a childall the way to adulthood . Those wishing may make Memorial Donations to the family to help with funeral expenses .

Those left who will love and mourn Shane are his loving Wife Yvonne and Son Keanu LaCount ,
Step sons Vince Reyes and Jesse Soto, Parents Chuck & Cherry Whitehead and Johnny & Debra
LaCount , Siblings Elizabeth and Taryn LaCount, Josh Harris, Grand parents Johnny LaCount Sr., and Ann Stamey , Nieces and Nephews Keden Whitehead , Macie & Baylee Goodsir , Angeleah Harris , Step sisters Misty McFarlin , Brooke Stowe and Whitney Powell.
