Claude Richard Hill

Mr. Claude Richard Hill, age 81, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Hill Haven Nursing Home. Mr. Hill was born in Franklin County to the late Richard and Maggie Lee Clark Hill. He was employed as a carpenter. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Sue Mathis Hill; three sisters and three brothers.

Mr. Hill is survived by his daughter, Annette Bowles of Commerce; sons, Danny Hill and Bobby Hill both of Toccoa, Ray Hill of Hartwell, and Terry Hill of Selmer, TN; sister, Mildred Canady of Carnesville; brothers, Duane Hill of Carnesville and Clinton Hill of Lavonia; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 4 PM, Saturday, February 9 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Parmer Pace and Mr. Donald Reese officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 PM Saturday.
