Deborah Ayers Ramey

Deborah Ayers Ramey, age 57 of Demorest, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Habersham County on June 6, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Will and Mary Etta Addison Ayers. Mrs. Ramey was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed singing in the church choir and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ramey was also preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Ramey and two sisters.
Survivors are son, Richard Pierce of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua & Christy Oliver of Alto; brothers and sisters-in-law, David & Trudy Ayers and Thomas & Wanda Ayers all of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Jacob, Spencer, Gavin, Ansley, and Trinity; two nieces and two nephews also survive.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Shane Jenkins and Dr. Earl Fowlks. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 pm Saturday.
