Mary Helen Ledford

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mary Helen Ledford, age 84, of Homer, GA, who passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013. Mrs. Ledford was born in Jackson County, GA, a daughter to the late Alvin and Gaynelle Shelton Cruce. Mrs. Ledford was a Homemaker and an avid Gardener. Mrs. Ledford's husband, Newt David "Shorty" Ledford, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Mary Ann Hogan, Homer, Thelma Pierce, Homer, Newt Ledford, Jackson County, Marvin Ledford, Homer, sisters, Lonnie Presley, Dry Pond, Dora Griffin, Jefferson, brother, Jesse Cruce, Jackson County, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2pm at the Graveside in the Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
