Betty Ann Osborne Bohannon

Betty Ann Osborne Bohannon, age 73, of Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Oaks at Scenic View.

Mrs. Bohannon was born on October 4, 1939, in Banks County, Georgia, to the late Henry and Docia Bellamy Osborne. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Malease McFarland and Mary Lou Hefner and her brothers, Junior and Fred Osborne. Mrs. Bohannon retired with Mt. Vernon Mills with 37 years of service. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Robert Bohannon, Baldwin, GA; daughter, Melissa Ann Bohannon-Pierce, Baldwin, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jeffery and Donna Bohannon, Baldwin, GA; grandchildren, Johnathon Pierce, Edena Bohannon, and Cory Ivester; and great-grandchildren, Alex Nicholson and Jayce Nicholson; and several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Roy Lee Mitchell and Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013, and from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the funeral home.
