Pauline Chapman Tench

Pauline "Polly" Chapman Tench, age 72 of Toccoa, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.


Per her request no funeral services will be held.


Mrs. Tench was born August 28, 1940 in Maysville, Georgia to the late Arthur Chapman and Ethel Parson Chapman. She was retired from Holcomb Office Supply and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Polly was preceded in death by her parents, her late husbands, James Lloyd and Burlin Tench, her sister, Frances Reid and her brother, Rozzie Chapman.


Mrs. Tench is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Lloyd & Don Cantrell of Martin, Georgia, son, Marty Lloyd of Toccoa, daughter, Regina Tench Church of Cornelia, son, David Tench of Toccoa, sister, Madge Turner of Homer, brother and sister-in-law, Garnett and Alice Chapman of Alto, sisters and brothers-in-law, Willoree & Odell Nix of Mt. Airy and Helen "Teddy" & Barry Taylor of Cornelia, 8 grandchildren, Don Cantrell, Jr., Crystal Cantrell Surrency, Mandy Fricks, Matthew Cantrell, Sara Church, Emily Church, Katie Church and Ashley Tench and 5 great-grandchildren.
