Dorothy Juanita Welling

Mrs. Dorothy Juanita Welling age 91 of Cleveland passed away Friday March 8, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Welling was born in Hopkins County KY the daughter of the late General Thurman Vandiver and Evangeline Cotton Vandiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence O. Welling and daughter, Pat Richardson. Mrs. Welling was a homemaker and member of Aloma Church in Winter Park, FL where she was the President of the Young at Hearts Club and was active in the homebound ministries. She contributed to various charities during her lifetime and served as librarian in Woodville, FL. Mrs. Welling had lived in Cleveland, GA with her daughter Carol Motte for the past four years.

Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Barber, Indiana; Carol J. Motte, Cleveland, GA; stepchildren, Sally Ann Papageorge, Tallahassee, FL; Arthur Welling, Warner Robins, GA; Faith McCallister, New Mexico; grandchildren, Julia Dittmer, Rhonda Barber, James W. Barber Jr., Sean W. Barber, Jeffery Lee Cornwell, Sheila DiGiacomo, Linda Osterberg; step granddaughter, Vicki Cultice; great grandchildren, Averie DiGiacomo, Ayden DiGiacomo, Caroline Milner, Russell Milner, Joshua Osterberg, Ryan Cage, Selena Boyts, Artie Dittmer, Dustin Barber, Paton Barber, Alyssa Barber, Ethan Barber.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2013 at Aloma Church Winter Park, FL. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
