Sandy Bascome Ford, 57, of Dawsonville, GA passed away Saturday, March 09, 2013 at Northside Hospital Forsyth, Cumming, GA. With his family by his side. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved to hunt and be outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Danny Ford. And father Bascome Ford.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 38 years Cyndi Ford of Dawsonville, GA; sons, Eric and Katie Ford of Dahlonega, GA, Jason Ford of Dawsonville, GA; parents, Bascome Ford and Louise and Ed Nelson; brothers, Randy Ford, Bobby Nelson and Tony Nelson; sisters, Lynn Quick, Susan Ford, Bumdy Fleenor, Pam Mullinax and Donna Nelson; grandchildren, Alyssa Ford and Alana Ford; 15 nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends..

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday March 17th at 2pm at the McDonald and Son Chapel with the Rev. Jim Dwiggins officiating.

The family will received friends on Sunday from 1pm until service time at the funeral home.
