Ernest Grizzle

Mr. Ernest Grizzle, age 63, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 following an extended illness.

Ernest was the son of the late Jim and Lois Rider Grizzle, and was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ed, John and Hubert Grizzle and his sister Zona Mae Anderson.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Martha Grizzle, Bill and Julie Grizzle, Grady and Louise Grizzle, and Henry Grizzle all of Dahlonega, GA, Clyde and Marie Grizzle of Lula, GA; sisters, Stella Mae Odom, Lila Mae Spriggs, Annie Mae Rushin all of Dahlonega, GA, and Fannie Mae Seigler of Toccoa. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Ernest are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Jerry Whitlock will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 6 PM until 9 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2013.
