Mr. Shaq I. Cagle, age 14 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Reverend Wayne Hicks and Reverend Joey Mealor will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home


Mr. Cagle was born on August 08, 1998 in Ocilla, Georgia to Sabrina Adams Ownby. He was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center.


Mr. Cagle is survived by mother and step-father, Sabrina and Paul Ownby, sister and brother-in-law, Katie and Jason Abercrombie, brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Pearl Cagle, brothers, Ryan Cagle, Evan Cagle, Eric Elliott, Daniel Cagle, Bryson Cagle, Shane Brock, Casey Cagle, Ben Cagle, Sam Cagle and Paul Cagle, aunts and uncles, Shannon and Mike Barnes, Christy Attaway and Chris Bruce, niece, Ivey Cagle, many cousins, long-term caregiver, Diane Slater, T.J. Williams, Elaine Carthern and Kim Duncan.
