Marlee Ann Peddicord Smith

Mrs. Marlee Ann Peddicord Smith, age 68, of Dahlonega, GA, died Friday, March 29, 2013.

Marlee was a native of Baltimore, MD who had lived in Lumpkin County since 1996. She was a former resident of Schenectady, NY.

She was the daughter of the late Harry Joseph Peddicord and Elizabeth Shockley Peddicord and was also preceded in death by her brother, Harry Peddicord.

Marlee is survived by her husband, Raymond Smith, Dahlonega, GA; children, Marla Groves, Schenectady, NY, Heather Yaughn and her husband, Jamie, Dahlonega, GA, Raymond Smith Jr. and his wife, Julie, Winder, GA, and Kaitlynn Smith, Dahlonega, GA; sister, Patricia Burke, Baltimore, MD. Several grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Marlee are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Pastor Ken Chatham will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 6 PM until 9 PM.
