Joel (Jack) Burge

Joel (Jack) Burge, age 84, of Cumming, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Dixie Burge; sisters and brother-in-law, Cecil and Don Lanham, Evelyn Woodward, Mary Ann Burge; brothers, Gene Burge and Bill Burge.



Survivors include his brother and sisters-in-law, Rev. Lawrence and Eloise Burge of Barnesville, Willie Mae Burge of Alpharetta; nephews and nieces, Henry and Rena Webb of Cumming, Susan Chatham of Cumming, Tony and Tammy Webb of Cumming, Earl and Nancy Chatham of Alpharetta, Patsy Cochran of Acworth, Linda and Wilburn Chatham of Canton, Jannine Jenkins of Cumming; great nephews and nieces, Casey Webb of Cumming, Kevin Webb of Cumming, Ryan Webb of Cumming, Audrey and Jesse Swofford of Murrayville, Francina and Robbie Little of Waleska, Little James Pruitt of Woodstock, Trish and Adam Shaw of Acworth, Chrisina and Ron Fain of Woodstock, Chasity Wiggle of Cumming, Billy Croy of Cumming; 12 great great nephews and nieces.



Funeral services will be held Monday, April 15th at 1:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Burge, Rev. Tom Stradley, Rev. Michael Burge officiating. Interment will follow at Alpharetta City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday from 10:00 am until hour of service at 1:00 pm.
