Mae Belle Wood

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mae Belle Gee Wood, age 80, of Talmo, who passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

Mrs. Wood was born in Jackson County, a daughter to the late Leonard and Pearl Gee. Mrs. Wood was a Homemaker and member of the Faith Baptist Church in Jefferson. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wood, son, Danny Wood, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Wood, Gainesville, son Larry Joe Wood, Talmo, 2 grandchildren, Macie Leeann Gary, Ashley Sliger, sister, Helen Manus, Hoschton, sister in law, Nelle Gee, Gainesville, and a special caregiver who provided much love and care, Brenda Tanner.

A Private Graveside Service will be held in the Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Spence officiating.
