Karen Ruppert Parson

Karen Ruppert Parson, age 50 of Alto, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 03, 2013.

Born in Queens, New York on May 09, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Arthur John and Frances Veronica Chippendale Ruppert. Mrs. Parson was avidly involved in the organization for the last seven years with the Board for the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair and was of the Holiness faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and was preceded in death by a daughter, Dasha Parson.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Steve Parson, son, Cody Parson, daughter, Amy Parson, all of Alto, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Leah and Cory Williams, Cornelia, GA; sister, Patty Bodine, NY; brothers, Arthur Ruppert, NY; Dennis Ruppert, FL; grandchildren, Riley Williams, Bray Williams, Jesse Williams, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 06, 2013 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor John Graham officiating.

Interment will follow in the Baldwin City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
